Archie Robert Cormier

He is survived by his three daughters, Sandee Henson and her husband, Jimmy, Janet McCrae, and Connie Young and her husband, Randy; his six grandchildren, Jimmy Lavergne, Lynsey Lavergne Buuck and her husband, Lou, Jacob Henson, Jamie Henson, Allie Young and Andrew Young; his three great-grandchildren, Landon and Evan Buuck and Aubrey Henson; and his four brothers, Roy, Murphy, Patrick and Terry. Archie is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Ruby Cormier; his sister, Cecile; and his brother, Frank. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Friday, July 27, 2018, from 9:00am until the time of the memorial service at noon. Inurnment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a special thanks to his nurses, Brittany Kirby and Lorraine Crifasi, and to his caregiver, Geneva Roberson, for their loving care.
