
A loving husband, father and grandfather, and a faithful husband of 60 years, he died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, at 8 a.m.at Our Lady of theLakeRegionalMedicalCenter. He was 83 and a retired employee of ExxonMobil. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East,11000 Florida Blvd., on Sunday from 4 p.m.to 9 p.m.Visiting at the funeral home on Monday from 9 a.m.until religious service in the chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Eric Greene. Interment inDevallCemetery. He is survived by his wife, Doris Hebert Devall of Baton Rouge; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret Ann and Cecil Harris of Denham Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Georgia Devall of Baton Rouge and Keith and Sue Devall of Prairieville; sister and brother-in-law, Mercedes and Forrest Hopson of Sulphur; brother and sister-in-law, George and Sandra Devall of Denham Springs; and seven grandchildren, Julie Siverd and husband Jordan of New Orleans, Chris Devall of Baton Rouge, Jeffrey Harris, M.D., and wife Danielle Harris, M.D., of Shreveport, Jeromy Harris and wife Rebecca of Baton Rouge, Matthew Harris and wife Casey of Denham Springs, Michael and Brian Devall, both of Tickfaw. He was preceded in death by parents, Archie Devall Sr. and Bertha Devall. Pallbearers will be Chris, Michael and Brian Devall, Jeromy and Matthew Harris, Steve Devall, Jordon Siverd and Jeffrey Harris. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church.
