Barbara Boudreaux Haynes

Psalm 23: 1-3 "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake." Barbara Boudreaux Haynes, of Greenwell Springs, LA, 77 years old, born January 27, 1939, entered eternal rest on February 28th, 2016 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Thank you Lord for giving us a Christian woman who loved the Lord. He gave us a woman that loved her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. One of her favorite pass times was keeping her great grandchildren, cook outs with her family and friends, and taking fishing and camping trips and gospel festivals with her "Honey". Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard "Dick" Haynes; brother Melvin Boudreaux, daughter, Robbie Chemin and her husband,Mike Chemin; two sons, Jeff Haynes and daughter in law, Stacie Guitreau and David "Shorty" Haynes. She is also survived by grandchildren Melissa Lawdermilt and spouse J.R. Lawdermilt, Aimee Beard and spouse Jordan Beard, Michael Chemin and spouse Brittany Chemin, Charlee Ray and spouse Jesse Ray and several great grandchildren including Jaelyn, Jaxen, and Clayten Ray, Jaden and Colten Lawdermilt, Camden and Harper Chemin, Amelia Beard and Alexis Redmond. Also survived by loving niece, Deb Hart and Girls. Preceded in death by her son, Keith Haynes, father, Rudolph Boudreaux, mother, Calice Vice Boudreaux, brothers, James and Louis Boudreaux, and sister Marie Louise Harvey. Visitation will be on Wednesday morning, March 2, 2016, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church from 9:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, celebrated by Rev. Michael J. Moroney. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Serving as Pallbearers will be Jeff Haynes, Mike Chemin, Michael Chemin, J.R. Lawdermilt, Jesse Ray, and Jordan Beard. Honorary Pallbearers are Melvin Boudreaux and David Haynes. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
