Bertis Joseph Robert, born October 9, 1923, passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 101. He was a native of Donaldsonville, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. He was a Navy Military Veteran that served his country in World War II and Korea. He was a loving husband of 72 years to Theresa Bossier Robert who preceded him death. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Patricia Robert and Susan Helm; sisters in-law, Barbara Perrere and Pat Bossier; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bertis is preceded in death by twin infant daughters; his parents, Zelia Hymel Robert and Jean Wallis Robert; brothers, Maurice, William, Jean Wallis, Maxie, Lester Robert; sisters, Wina Tamplain, Cecile Zeringue, Gladys Porrier, Mable Guichet, Elma Chiquet.
