Mrs. Bobbie Day Meyer

Bobbie Day Meyer, native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on July 25, 2022 at the age of 79. Bobbie was a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and enjoyed genealogy, collectibles, traveling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, George Meyer; daughter and son-in-law, Becky Herrington and Michael; son and daughter-in-law, Michael Meyer and Dinora; grandchildren, Carley and Garrett Herrington; great-grandchildren, Rowan Herrington; brother, Richard Day; brother and sister-in-law, Winston Day and Bernadette; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bob and Gwendolyn Hamm; nieces, Phyllis Herron and Crystal Dupre. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bobbie Banker and Richard Laverne Day.

A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA, on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 12 pm until time of funeral service at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Richard Day, Winston Day, Michael Meyer, Michael Herrington, Garrett Herrington, and Edward Meyers. Honorary pallbearer will be Bob Hamm.
