"Bobbie passed away from a long battle with health issues. She was a very strong lady who fought her battle until the end. She was 81 and lived a very active life. She was a member of Cedarcrest Baptist Church and was Commissioner of the USS Kidd. She was employed with Post Architects and was also secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary branch unit #371. She was very active in life and always busy with her crafts. She was always making something for someone. She loved her crafts along with cooking and canning. Bobbie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jerry Pugh; and her daughter, Lynn Ridley and husband Rick; as well as by very dear and close friends, Sherry Wilson and Larry Simmons. She is also survived by her sisters: Joann Fox and husband Monty, Mary Louise Davis and husband Robert, and sister-in-law, Kim Brooks; as well as 4 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sons Gary Knight and Larry Pugh; and also by her mother and father, a sister, and a brother. A service in her memory will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at 1:00 pm at Cedarcrest Baptist Church, 2020 Cedarcrest Avenue.
