A resident of Gonzales and native of Baton Rouge, Bobby died on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 in St. James Parish. He was 53. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Monday, Sept. 8, 2014 from 9 am until religious services at 11 am. Burial will follow in the Bowman-Dedon Cemetery, St. Francisville. Bobby is survived by his parents, John and Edna Dedon Garantine; daughter, Jessie Garantine; three sons, Bobby, Jr., Brett and John Garantine; sister, Jan Carlton; brother, Davie Garantine; and four grandchildren.
