
"Pete" "Beaver"A retired truck driver and a resident of Denham Springs, Bobby Noel Wilkinson, affectionately known as "Pete" and "Beaver," passed away on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, at Harvest Manor Nursing Home. He was 76, a native ofLiberty, Miss., and a U.S. Navy veteran. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., was on Friday, Nov. 17, from 5 p.m.to 9 p.m.Visiting resumes in the funeral home chapel Saturday from 8 a.m.until religious service at 9 a.m., conducted by Phillip McDaniel. Burial inSalemCemetery, Walker. He is survived by three daughters, Helen Carmona and husband Paul of Zachary, Trena L. Galloway and husband Jimmy of Walker, and Trena Wilkinson Crum and husband John of Central; three sons, Noel Wilkinson of Watson, Danny "Poolie" Wilkinson and wife Trudy of Denham Springs, and Bobby Wilkinson and wife Tasha of Prairieville; two sisters, Doris Brecheen of Baton Rouge and Barbara Holloway and husband Dan of Big Sandy, Texas; brother, Horace Wilkinson and wife Annie of Baker; a special friend, Merlie Watson; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wives, Trena Wilkinson and Margaret Wilkinson; daughters, Carolyn Ann Wilkinson and Debra Jean Wilkinson; three sisters; four brothers; and parents, Horace and Nora Wilkinson. Pallbearers will be Ben Oliveaux, Derrick Barton, Chris Walker, Lloyd Courtney, James Menser and Corey Dabadie. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Noel Thompson and Huey Courtney.
