Bridget Nutter Wolfe

Bridget L. (Nutter) Wolfe was born on October 9, 1957, and slipped peacefully into the arms of her Savior on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Bridget endured her journey with Alzheimer’s disease with grace trusting in God to carry her through her illness.

Bridget is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, David L. Wolfe; her siblings, Leslie Nutter and Tim Nutter (Melanie); a niece- Emilie Nutter and six nephews: Nicholas Nutter, Adam and Martin Planche, Timothy, Scott and Luke Schleicher.

Bridget was preceded in death by her parents Nicholas J. Nutter and Mary Lois Keefe Nutter and her brother, Fr. Jack Nutter and her sister, Patricia (Tricia) Nutter Planche.

Visitation with the family will be at St. Thomas More Church 11441 Goodwood Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 9:00-11:00 am with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am, celebrated by Fr. Jerry Martin. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Bridget’s memory to Alzheimer’s Services of the Capital Area (3772 North Blvd. Baton Rouge La 70806.) The family is deeply grateful to Jackie Gallman, family friend, who saw to Bridget’s daily needs and to Gerry Shropshire, one of her caregivers, who became part of her family. Thank you to everyone who walked this journey with their love and prayers.
