Our beloved mother passed away on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at Old Jefferson Community Care Center. She was 84, a native of Moy, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. until memorial service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Survived by a son, Timothy Bryant and wife Julie; two daughters, Johanna Caraway and husband Clark, and Sheila Bryant Jeffers; four grandsons, Sean Caraway and wife Richanne, Jason Caraway and wife Judy, Byron Bryant and Barry Bryant; five great-grandchildren, Gabreel Bryant, Tyler Bryant, Courtney Caraway, Madeline Caraway and Liam Caraway; and sisters, Philomena Mulligan and Sheila Lewis, both of England. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Bryant; and a great-granddaughter, Magan Bryant.
