Charles “Chuck” Walter Franklin, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at the age of 67. Chuck was a System Services Contractor for Cox Communication and Time Warner Cable. He was most recently an Animal Control Officer with the East Baton Rouge Animal Control Center. He was a 1966 graduate of Istrouma High School. Chuck was a Native American, registered as a member of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska. Chuck is survived by his children, Anna Waddell, Chad Franklin and his wife, Linda, Jim Bob Cutrer and his wife, Julie, and Christy Cutrer; grandchildren, Darcey, Tori, Megan, Eric, and Amber; and 3 great-grandchildren. Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Franklin; parents, Charles and Doris Franklin; and his sister, Sherry Franklin. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 9 a.m. until Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Interment will be held at Line Creek Baptist Cemetery in Kentwood, LA at 12:30 p.m.
