

A loving husband and father passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013, at the age of 47. He was an active member, trustee, and Sunday school teacher at Grace Baptist Church. He has worked as an instrument and control technician at Entergy for over 27 years. He was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors, Dallas Cowboys and LSU sports. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 5 PM until 9 PM and will resume on Friday, December 13, 2013, from 11:30 AM until service at 12:30 PM. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Keri Faulkner Heil; two daughters, Kristan Michele Heil and fiancé, Scott Rinehart and Taylor Danielle Heil; parents, Helen and Ervin Heil; four sisters, Debbie Seay, Stacie Guidry and husband, Norman, Faith Jellison and husband, Nathanial, and Mistie Lee and husband, John; one brother, Glenn Heil and wife, Fran; mother in law, Faye Faulkner Cumpton and husband, Scotty; one sister in law, Margaret Faulkner; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Christian and Almeda Heil; maternal grandparents, Carl and Irene McBroom; and father in law, William “Jim” Faulkner. Pallbearers will be Nathanial Jellison, James Heil, Norman Guidry, John Lee, Kevin Belue, Steve Lewis, Josh Sanford, and Charlie Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be The I & C Shop Entergy RBS.
