Christine Timpa

Christine was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the age of 90. She was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Christine dedicated her entire life to her family who she would do anything for. She would volunteer at the school and was active in her parish. She loved her church and has been a dedicated member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church since 1967. Christine’s beautiful and kind spirit will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Anthony Timpa (Madeleine), Joseph Timpa (Suzette), Geneva Moss, Christine A. Timpa, and Deanna Timpa; grandchildren, Mark Moss (Eglantine), Jenifer Moss, Peter Timpa, Marie Faucheux (Alex); great-grandchildren, Lucille Moss and Claire Faucheux. Christine is preceded in death by her loving husband, Tony Timpa; siblings, Stella Miceli, Mary Carlino, AJ Maranto, Frank Maranto; parents, John and Christine Maranto; and son-in-law, Randy Moss. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Thursday, January 12, 2023, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. There will be a burial at Graceland Cemetery in Lake Charles, Louisiana at a later date.
