Chuyen Nguyen passed away on November 16, 2021 at the age of 93. He was born on June 12, 1928 in Quang Binh, Vietnam, where he became a very proficient fisherman. He became a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1975 then moved to Houston, Texas for the last five years to live with his eldest son, Can Nguyen. He was a devoted Catholic, loving husband, and father. Chuyen is survived by his five sons; three daughters; twenty-one grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18 and Friday, November 19 from 6-8pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 22, at St. Anthony Church, 2305 Choctaw Dr. Baton Rouge, LA 70805.
