"CJ" Clarence Joseph Mayeux a native of Avolleys Parish and Resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at home on July 21, 2017 at the age of 88. He retired after 40 years from S &S/ Shaw Fabrication in Addis, La. as a Welder Supervisor.
He was preceded in death by, his father Valarie Mayeux and Mother Enide Mills Mayeux. Brother Edwin Mayeux, two sisters Olla Dauzat and Gloria Guidry.
He is survived by his wife Bernice Scallan Mayeux of 67 years. Son & Daughter in law Steve R. and Mary R. Mayeux, Granddaughters and Spouse Kevin and Lisa Bergeron of Baker and Ryan and Ginger Falcon of New Roads. Two great- grandsons, Joseph K. Bergeron and Liam M. Falcon. Sisters Nelda Scallan and Mable Vead.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church located at 12424 Brogdon Lane, Baton Rouge LA, on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 9:00am to 11:00am Funeral Mass starting at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
In lue of flowers the family asks to donate to St. Patrick Catholic church in memory of him to continue to honor his most Blessed Mother Mary and Jesus with Memorial candles lit.
