Clayton Joseph Joffrion Sr., 89 of Destrehan, LA. passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Clayton was a veteran of the Army, proudly serving his country in the Korean War. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Clayton worked hard providing for his family. He spent the majority of his working life in the electrical industry in Baton Rouge. In his free time, he loved breathing life into antiques, ranging from furniture finds to classic cars. A past member of the Antique Automobile Club of Baton Rouge, Clayton loved showing his matador red 1957 Chevrolet. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, 3 children, Carolyn J. Summers (Jerry), Charlotte J. Posey (Chris), Craig Joffrion; brother, Kenneth Joffrion (Brenda); nephew, Todd Joffrion (Susan); granddaughter, Bridget J. Summers; and his little buddy Nicky (Chihuahua mix). Clayton was preceded in death by his wife Dixie L. Joffrion; son Clayton J Joffrion Jr.; parents AM “Pete” and Leila Joffrion; granddaughter Tara M. Summers; and his beloved German Shepard Baron. A memorial service for Clayton will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 11007 Plank Rd., Clinton, LA 70722.
