

A loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at the age of 87. He was an active parishioner of St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church where he was a member of the Holy Name Society, church counsel, and an usher. He was a salesman for 688 Auto Parts/ Service Parts Warehouse for over 30 years. His greatest joys were bowling, wood working, making rosaries, and dancing. He was always happy and loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching LSU sports. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bella Crochet Baham; three daughters, Marla Baham Sciortino and J.D. Sciortino, Claire Baham Tolivar and Todd Hodges, and Kay Baham Daniel and Caleb Wills; four grandchildren, Patrick Tolivar, Garrett Tolivar, Julie Sciortino Moore and Ryan Moore, and Nathan Dominic Sciortino; and one great grandchild on the way. He is preceded in death by his parents, Womack and Gretel Baham; two brothers; one sister; and former wife, Ethelyn Achord Baham. Visitation will be held at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church on Saturday, June 21, 2014, from 11:30 AM until Mass of Christian burial at 2 PM. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
