
Clovis served in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne Division. After the Army, he became a well-known civil/structural engineer along the lower Mississippi River. He was also a professor adjunct at LSU in civil engineering for 16 years. He has received numerous honors and awards for DE later chapter honor member of Chi Epsilon HCHS by students and faculty of LSU. He also received James M. Todd technical award for distinguished services by an engineer for technical advancement of engineering. He was inducted into the CDI Engineering Hall of Fame. He is preceded in death by his son, Mark Wayne Morrison and parents Lee Boyce Morrison and Mary Helen Arnold Morrison and brother Johnny Mack Morrison. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Cresta "Net" Morrison, and grandchildren, Dorian Maxwell Morrison and Josephine Rhiannon Morrison. Pallbearers will be Phillip Zito, Brooks Blackledge, Nathan Braud, Justin Ittman, Brian Varnado and Scott Adams. Honorary pallbearers: Roddy Marchafaua, Ryan King, Clint Patterson. Visitation will be Friday, October 16, from 10-2 with service at 2 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home. Brian will be interred at Green Oaks Memorial Gardens.
