Dale Joseph Richard

Dale passed at his home at 4:00 AM on July 13, 2013 after a long fight with esophageal cancer at the age of 69. He is preceded in death by his father, Emile Joseph Richard; and survived by his sweet dearly loved mother, Camille Prince Richard; his loving wife, Patricia Bankston Richard; children, Teri Jeansonne married to Marcus Jeansonne, and Duane Mixon. Also survived by sisters, Barbara Ann Mayeux and her husband Donald Mayeux, and Sue Hatcher and her husband Wayne Hatcher; brothers, Mike Richard and his wife Glenda Richard, Jay Richard, and Stevie Richard; 3 loving grandchildren that will miss him tremendously, Vivian Jeansonne, Madeleine Jeansonne, and Winnfield Jeansonne; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; best friend Robert "Ham" Hamilton; and many other friends who will miss him dearly. Native of Baton Rouge, LA, graduate of Catholic High School class of 1961, and retired from LA DOTD with 33 years of state service. He loved his family and friends, golfing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 5:00-8:00PM at Greenoaks Funeral Home.
