
Danielle Marie Boudreaux, loving wife and mother, passed away early Monday morning, Sept. 27, 2010. Her death was sudden and very much unexpected. She was 35. She is survived by her husband, David Bicknell, and their three daughters, Samantha Boudreaux, Morgan Bicknell and Taylor Bicknell. Also survived by her parents, Irvin Boudreaux and Rebecca Boudreaux, of Baton Rouge; grandparents, Marcus and Aline Boudreaux, of Gonzales; siblings, Jeanne Boudreaux, of Baton Rouge, Dorian Boudreaux Redden and husband Jerry Redden, of Ashland, Ky., Jenée Boudreaux Wilkinson and husband Timothy Wilkinson, of Baton Rouge, and Marcus Boudreaux II and wife Brandy Ortego Boudreaux; four godchildren, Jonathan Saia, Joshua Ratner, Emily Wilkinson and Cameron Wilkinson; 11 other nieces and nephews, and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, L.C. and Hilda Stephenson. Danielle cherished her family to the end. She devoted her life to her loved ones and worked endlessly to make them know the true meaning of love. She always seemed to see the best in people and thought everyone deserved a second chance. She has influenced the lives of those around her and will be in our hearts forever. The family would like to thank friends, family and everyone for their generous and loving support in this difficult time. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 12364 La. 416, Lakeland, on Thursday, Sept. 30, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Gregory Daigle, celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the "Children of Danielle Memorial Fund" at Capital One Bank, or volunteer services may be offered to the American Debetes Association.
