Deborah Hutchinson Thibodeaux, age 69, born in Clinton, LA then resided in Port Allen, LA. She was wonderful, sweet, loving, kind friend, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to cook and take care of everyone; she didn’t meet a stranger along the way. She enjoyed gardening plants. She worked for the WBR School Food Services where she retired and then later became a day care teacher. She fought a long battle of cancer to the end.
She is survived by her loving husband, Louis Thibodeaux of Port Allen, LA; a son, Chad Thibodeaux; a daughter, Heather Thibodeaux Safford and husband James C. Safford IV (J.C.) of Parks, LA; as well as two granddaughters, Helen Safford and Madison Thibodeaux.
Deborah is preceded in death by her parents Juanita and Clarence V. Hutchinson; a sister, Patricia Gayle Smith, and grandson, Caleb Thibodeaux.
Relatives and friends are invited to the chapel of Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St. Baton Rouge, LA 70802, on Friday January 2, 2026 for a visitation beginning at 9:00AM until a small memorial service beginning at 10:00AM.
