Delores, (Dee) Phillips McDuffey, 87, was reunited with the love of her life, John Wesley McDuffey, on January 15, 2018. Dee was born March 7, 1930 in Plaquemine, LA to Frank and Nona Sparks Phillips. She was a loving mother to Annette McDuffey Carpenter and husband R. Gene Carpenter, Denham Springs, LA; Jeffrey John McDuffey and wife Barbara, Lewisville, TX. She was a loving grandmother to Adam Randall Carpenter, Pride, LA; Caleb John Carpenter and wife Reigni Terrell Carpenter, Denham Springs, LA. She was a loving aunt to Danny Phillips and wife Terri, Covington, LA; Tommy Phillips and wife Melissa, Boutte, LA; Julie Phillips Brodie, Reno, NV; and Polly Phillips Wilder, Mt. Shasta, CA. She also leaves behind numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Dudley Phillips, Reno, NV and Wendell Phillips, Avondale, LA. She was also preceded in death by three nephews; Mike, Dennis and Timmy Phillips. Family and friends are invited to the visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, LA from 9 am until the funeral service at 12 noon. Interment to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
