Diane Lavergne

Peggy Diane Lavergne went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 8, 2025. She was joyously reunited with her husband of 28 years Joe Lavergne. She faithfully served the Lord and used her gift of mercy especially through the benevolence ministry of her church. She enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and especially Israel with her sister and brother-in-law. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Diane is survived by her children, Jason Lavergne, Jill Martin (Virgil), and Wendi Nelms (Craig); grandchildren, William Oliphant, Ainslea Greenwood (Trenton), Isabella Lavergne, Samuel Russell, Jospeh A. Lavergne, Hannah Delgado (Jeremiah), and Joshua Nelms; great-grandson, Colton Greenwood.

Diane is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Allen Lavergne; parents, Charles and Peggy Hilbun; and grandson Joseph Reed Oliphant.

Pallbearers will be Jason Lavergne, William Oliphant, Samuel Russell, Joesph A. Lavergne, Joshua Nelms, Craig Nelms, Trenton Greenwood, Virgil Martin, and Tom Boykin

Services will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge Louisiana, 70815 on Wednesday, February 12th. Visitation will begin at 12pm followed a Celebration of Life at 2pm. Peggy will be laid to rest following the services at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
