A native of Alexandria and resident of Baton Rouge, Don Hillman O'Neal died in Baton Rouge on Friday, November 28, 2014. He was 71, a Federal Court Security Officer for ten years, a retired Baton Rouge City Police officer with over thirty years of service and a U.S. Army veteran. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, from 5 pm until 8 pm. Graveside services will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Alexandria, at 12 noon Thursday, Dec. 4th. He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth O'Neal; fiance', Tonya Peyton; grandson, David Scallan; granddaughter, Rachel Scallan; great-granddaughter, Rylie June Scallan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maye Hillman. Pallbearers will be Don May, Don Greene, Joe Blanchard, Huntington Hodges and Greg Robichaux. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Police, Blue Knights Motorcycle Club and the Baton Rouge HOG Chapter.
