"Donna was born September 23, 1948 to the late Donald David and Mary Agnes Gipson Beatty and passed away December 4, 2018 at age 70. She was a former seamstress and nanny. She loved her family and church and especially enjoyed making Christmas cookies and fudge. Donna enjoyed word and jigsaw puzzles, science fiction movies and books. As a young adult, she enjoyed singing in the Broadmoor School Choir and introduced the guitar to her brothers and sisters. Donna is survived by her siblings, Nancy Velardo (Christopher); Gerard "Bubba" Beatty (Lisa), Jeanne Galster (David), Allen A.J. Beatty, Cathy B. Jenkins, and Donald G. Beatty (Amy); and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her sister, Connie Frances Beatty. Visiting will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Friday, December 7, 2018, from 8:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am celebrated by Rev. Michael Allelo. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park with her nephews serving as pallbearers.
