Donna Bielkiewicz DeMacarty

Donna Bielkiewicz DeMacarty, 70 years old, born native to New Roads, Louisiana of Point Coupee Parish became an angel of God on December 12, 2022. A faithful member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church and her ultimate “Girls Club” consisting of lifelong childhood friends that included many fond memories of stories from the past to reminisce, support, and love. These girls were more than friends and rather sisters. Jack White, her significant other, brought such joy to Donna’s eyes the past several years they have spent together, but have over 47 years of friendship. Their adventures in traveling, love for sports, late night old movies and patio coffee were just a few of their special times together. The pillar of her strength was always through family, friends, and faith. Donna is survived by her mother, Florence Bielkiewicz; son, Shawn Patrick Sellars and his wife Bridget; grandson, Sebastian Shawn Sellars; and her aunts, Lorraine Blades, Mona Mayeaux and husband Mike. She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Bielkiewicz; grandparents; aunt, Peggy Andre; and uncle, Harold Blades. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Services will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70806, on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10am, with procession to follow in the Garden of Peace at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.
