Doris Coats Dobson

Doris Coats Dobson, resident of Baton Rouge and native of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the age of 86. Doris is survived by her daughters, Lisa Dobson, Caroline Dobson Barber (Lee), and Mary Margaret Dobson Collier "Meggie" (Richard); brother, Roy M. Coats; Grandchildren, Mary Shaw (Josh), Rayne Barber Bordelon (Christian), Aubrey Lee Barber IV "Buck" (Emily), Sarah Elisabeth Collier, and Emma Lanier Collier; great grandchildren, Jane Renee Shaw, Frances Lanier Shaw, and Grace Lanier Bordelon. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lanier Dobson and parents, Roy and Doris Coats. Pallbearers will be her brother and grandsons. Visitation will be Wednesday November 23, 2022 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home 11000 Florida Blvd. from 11am until Funeral Service at 1pm. Burial to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
