Dorothy was a retired Executive Secretary, a resident of Williamsburg Retirement Center in Baton Rouge and a native of Mound City, MO. She passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 12:15 pm at Ollie Steele Burden Manor at age 95. She is survived by her two sons, Kenneth M. Blue, Jr., and wife, Dixie Williams Blue, and Daniel Stephen Blue, and wife, Elaine Eiksteadt Blue; five grandchildren, Leslie Blue Clement and husband, Frank Jamieson "Jay" Clement, Kenneth M. "Trey" Blue III, and wife, Ainsley Harrington Blue, Amy Blue Rome, and husband, Gregg Lawrence Rome, Daniel Stephen "Danny" Blue, Jr., and wife, Ann Hammi Blue, and Steven Ralph Blue; and eleven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth M. Blue; parents, Daniel and Laura Buntz; granddaughter, Brandee Blue; and a sister, Gladys Buntz Thomas. Dorothy loved reading, playing bridge and shopping. She adored her family and being with them and traveling to the Southwest was a true joy, especially to Santa Fe.
