Dorothy Kelly Kirby, 77, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Walker, LA passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013. A one-of-a-kind woman, Dorothy was active in Senior Olympics, loved to travel, a member of Walker Baptist Church and the best candy maker in town. She is survived by her grandsons: Tyler Kirby Jr., and Trace Kirby and wife Laurel; great randchildren: Londyn, Riley, Kaatelynn, Christian, and Kayla; and brother and sister-in-law George Kelly and wife Roberta. She is preceded in death by her husband Mitchell Kirby; sons: Skye Kirby and Tyler Kirby Sr.; parents George and Luvenia Kelly; and siblings: Thelma Thornton, Elma LeBlanc, Vera LeBlanc, and M.J. Kirby. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 9am until service time at noon. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
