Edith retired from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff Office after 30 years, and was currently employed with Southeastern Louisiana University, security service. A resident of Baton Rouge, and a native of Bogalusa, she passed away September 30, at the Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet, she was 61. Visitation will be Friday October 4, 2013 at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. from 6pm till 8pm, visiting continues at the funeral home on Saturday October 5, 2013 from 11am till Memorial Service at 12pm. Interment will follow in Bonnie Cemetery, in Angie, Louisiana, at 4 p.m. Edith is survived by her sister Sarah Evans Williams and husband Jesse, of Zachary, La., two nephews Paul Williams and wife Cala, of Rose Pine, La., and Mark Williams and wife Lisa, of Zachary, La, niece Amy Easley and husband Jason, of Madison, Mississippi.
