"Edna Lee Ford Baxter passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the age of 94. She worked as an instructional aide at College Park Elementary School in Gautier, MS. She is survived by her four children; Jim Baxter (Beverly), Ted Baxter (Connie), Gail Pollard, George Baxter (Kim) and a daughter-in-law, Janine B. Lahrs, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore W. "Buddy" Baxter, a son, Mickey Baxter, a son-in-law, Donnie Pollard, parents; George C. Ford and Cecil "Mammie" Lemons. She spent the last 6 years surrounded by special friends at La Plantation Assisted Living Home. Special thanks to the staff members especially Kayla, Marla, Susan and Tessa. There will be a private memorial to be held at a later date.
