A loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Ochsner Medical Center. She was 73, a resident of Port Allen and native of Alexandria. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., Tuesday, May 10, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday in the chapel from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by her husband, B.E. Bay Fitzgerald; daughters, Mona McKay Holthaus and Kristie Nicole Ryan; son, Steven Todd McKay; stepdaughters, Janice Ivy, Maureen Fitzgerald, Margie Fitzgerald and Linda Matt; sisters, Robbie Sue Smith, Lois Gurgainers, Shirley Salzer and Debbie Navarre; brothers, Wallace Cole, Elbra Cole Jr., Jerry Dale, Henry Cole, Ricky Cole and Michael Cole; and grandchildren, Sydney Cole Holthaus, Jacques McKay Brousseau, Meagan Elaine Ryan, Morgan Anette Ryan, Robert Frank Ryan IV and Ashley Nicole McKay. Preceded in death by her parents, Elbra and Willie May Cole; and daughter, Margaret Deville.
