Elizabeth D. Politz

Elizabeth D'Antoni Politz, native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at home on Saturday, October 5, 2024. She was 84 and retired from the Louisiana House of Representatives. Elizabeth is survived by her son, Thomas "Tommy" Politz and wife Rosie Landry Politz; granddaughters, Blair Politz Grimmett and husband Wayne, and Mary Politz Dwyer; great-grandchildren Jace Grimmett, Caine Grimmett, and Abigail Grimmett, and Marian Dwyer and Rory Dwyer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Marion Politz; daughter Connie Politz; parents Dominic and Mary D'Antoni; and sister Margie DiGerolamo. Elizabeth was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy in Baton Rouge, a devout Catholic, and loved her family very much. Visitation will be Thursday, October 10, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church from 9:00 am until 10:30 am followed by a mass celebrated by Deacon Ronnie Hebert. Interment at Greenoaks Memorial Park to follow.
