Elizabeth Chargois Spiller, a resident of Baton Rouge was born May 27, 1925. She passed from this life to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at the age of 90. She was more than a devoted Lutheran and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Elizabeth was fully committed to her husband of 61 years and to the upbringing of her children. Her love and kindness exuded from her always; her hugs were the most genuine of all hugs. Her bed sheets were crisp, white and appeared to be ironed by her warm, loving hands; her home was perfectly kept, always. She could take one look and tell if you had not taken your vitamin that day; she was most attentive to everyone she loved. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her siblings Virginia Knooce and C.L. Chargois; children, Callie Spiller, Jr. and wife Sharon, Gary Spiller and wife JoCarole, Charles Spiller and wife Sylvia, and Sandy Pardue and husband Donald; her grandchildren, Stephanie Spiller; Dana Salisbury and husband Bruce; great-grandchildren Eian and Elliot Sternbergh; Anna and Emma Salisbury.
