Elizabeth"Betty"Perkins Dear

Elizabeth Marie "Betty" Perkins Dear entered into a peaceful sleep on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, to be reunited with her beloved husband, Frank Dear. Also awaiting her arrival was her grandson Philip L. Constant. She was born in Parkdale and was raised in Arkansasbefore becoming a homemaker in Baton Rouge, enjoying gardening, home design and centering her life around her family. She blessed with a beautiful voice she used along with her piano stylings to serve God at SherwoodBaptistChurch. She is survived by three children, Dennis Frank Dear Sr. and wife Vera, Roger Dale "Bubba" Dear and wife Gina, and Diana Marie "Sissy" Dear Constant and husband Jimmy. She leaves a legacy of love and strength to her four lovely granddaughters, Theresa Dear Brown and husband Clifton, Tiffany Dear Wright and husband Stephen, Jessica Dear and Dana Dear. She also leaves two adored grandsons, Dennis Frank Dear Jr. and Willis J. Constant and wife Amy. She was the proud great-grandmother of four little girls. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m.until religious service at 3 p.m., conducted by the Rev. David Womack. Interment in GreenoaksMemorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Willis Constant and Denny Dear; and friends, Johnny Medici, Todd and Tim Gonda and Ray Theriot. Her heart is glad and her spirit rejoices while her soul rests and dwells with God in safety and peace.
