Ella Nelly Bennett

Ella Boudreaux Cedotal Bennett, age 93, passed away on Thursday August 22, 2024 in Iberville Parish. She was born in Labadieville, LA in 1930 to her loving parents, the late Rene’ and Corrine Boudreaux. She was the loving mother of Darleen Cedotal Davis (Rodney), Pamela Cedotal Landry (Fred Jr,) and the late Don Cedotal. Sister in law of Margaret Boudreaux. Ella survived by her grandchildren; Chad Davis (Danicia), Ron Davis (LaTrisha), Lance Davis (Brittani) and Joshua Landry. Her great-grandchildren; Blake, Paige, Erika, Tucker, Logan, Mason, Mia and Ryder and 9 great-great grandchildren.

She preceded in death by her first husband; Hayward Cedotal and her second husband; Benjamin Bennett; 6 siblings; Carrie Lichtenberg (Henry), Helen Landry (Freddy), Margaret Curran (Robert), Harris Boudreaux (Maud), Robert Boudreaux (Vilean) and Seldon Boudreaux. She was a great mother, cook, wife, salesperson and preacher. Ella had a very eventful life. She will be greatly missed. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815 on Wednesday August 28, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Burial will be held at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
