Elmer Laird

Elmer Laird 89, died Tuesday July 7, 2015. Member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Served in the US Navy during WWII, Pacific Rim aboard the USS Barataria. Survived by his wife of 67 Years Irma, Sons: Rev. Kenny Laird, David Laird and wife Mary, Daughters, Cheryl LaCroix and husband Kelvin, Rebecca Zerangue and husband Stephen, Mona Miller and husband Greg, and Leslie Garcia and husband Juan. Grandchildren: Christopher LaCroix and wife Angele, Nicholas LaCroix and wife Kelli, Kellea LaCroix, Lea Laird Elzein and husband Basil, Scott Laird and wife Casey, Michael Zerangue and wife Rachel, Ellen Zerangue, Daniel Miller and wife Julie, Ryan Garcia, Kaylea Garcia Cucullu and husband Beau. Great Grandchildren Hallea, Harper, Drew, and Evan LaCroix; Sara and Adam Elzein; Luke, Dane, and Kort Laird; Norah Zerangue. Pallbearers 6 grandsons and Honorary Pallbearer Gerald Laird. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon Friday July 10th at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until service time at St. Alphonsus.
