Elsie O. Rogers

Elsie O. Rogers passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at the age of 101. She was a native of Crowley, LA, and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA for 66 years, and ultimately a resident of New Roads, LA. Elsie was a social, friendly and outgoing person that was loved by everyone that knew her. She particularly enjoyed playing bingo everyday with her friends at the assisted living facility in New Roads. Elsie is survived by her sons, Randy Rogers and wife, Connie, Mark Rogers and wife, Brenda, and Stephen Rogers, Sr.; grandchildren, Dara Mayers and husband, Brett, Niki Bass, Gary Rogers, Kala Rogers, Andrew Rogers and wife, Brandie, Stephen Rogers, Jr., and Harrison Rogers; great-grandchildren, Reece and Logan Mayers, Baille and Kellsie Bass, Donovin, Trey, and Raelynn Rogers, and Olivia Clark and Amelia Rogers; great-great-grandchildren, Grayson, Emmarie, Emmett and Karsyn; and a host of other loving family members. Elsie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Rogers; parents, Felix and Ophelia Orgeron; and siblings, Vernice Orgeron, Elmo Orgeron, and Eloise Boulet. Visitation and funeral services will be private for the family.
