

Ms. Ena “Mae” Bordelon, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on October 24, 2024 at the age of 78 years old. She was born in Marksville, La., on November 24, 1945, to parents, Alben and Reba Cooper Sr.
Ena “Mae” enjoyed bowling, LSU baseball, beading crafts, reading and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. She will deeply be missed as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many.
She is survived by her two sons, Barry Bordelon (Terry), Reggie Bordelon (Greta); daughter, Boni Pater (Troy); grandchildren, Michael Bordelon, Beau Bordelon, Londyn Patty, Jena Bordelon, Lance Patty, Logan Patty, Brock Caldwell, and Brandon Caldwell; great-grandchildren, Odin Bordelon, Rune Bordelon, Cole Windham, and Crawford Patty; siblings, Joyce Baronne, Deborah Cooper, Shelley Smith, Alben Paul Cooper, Jr., and Martin Paul Cooper.
Preceded in death is husband of 59 years, Richard J. Bordelon, brothers, Lloyd Cooper and Flint Paul Cooper, and her parents, Alben Paul Cooper Sr. and Reba Joyce Cooper.
A visitation will take place at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Monday, November 4, 2024, from 10:00 am until service time of 12:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
