

A loving mother and grandmother passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016, at the age of 94. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic Daughters. In addition to being a devoted and active member of the Catholic faith, she was also an accomplished seamstress. In her younger years, she was a well-loved beautician, or as she would call it a “beauty operator.” Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, January 16, 2016, from 11 AM until memorial service at 12 PM conducted by Father Donald Blanchard. Inurnment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her two daughters, Harrilyn Tolbert and husband Jimmy, and Gerry Bordes and husband Richard; six grandchildren, Scott Thomas and wife Jennifer, Katherine Thomas, Trip Oubre, Stephanie Bordes Hassinger and husband Kenny, Desiree Bordes Wonderlich and husband Shawn, Emily Bordes; eight great grandchildren, Alex, Abby, Grace, and Drew Hassinger, Ryan Thomas, Jake, Ava, and Luke Wonderlich; sister in law, Shirley Lott and husband Bob; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry “Harry” Peter Boudreaux; parents, Theard and Ophelia Simoneaux; two brothers, Lester and Roy Simoneaux; two sisters, Rita Keller and Merlyn Miller.
