

Faye Thompson went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 24, 2016, at 11:57a.m. at Ochsner Medical Center of Baton Rouge. She was 84, a resident of Baton Rouge, and a native of Natchez, Mississippi. She was a graduate of Istrouma High, Class of 1951. She was a devoted housewife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Visitation will be on Friday, May 27, 2016, in the Chapel at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 9a.m. until religious service at 11a.m., conducted by Mr. Bob Kelly. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Harris Ward, and by her husband, Maurice "Tommy" Thompson. She is survived by three children: Brenda Cudd and her husband Lynn Cudd of Baton Rouge, Dale Thompson of Baton Rouge, and Cindy Lewis and her husband Brian Lewis of Walker; a sister, Jeannette Myers of Denham Springs; and a brother, Jack Harris and his wife Debbie Harris of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Curtis, Heather, and Renee' Reine, Trey Thompson, Neil and Christopher Vise, and Corey and Kim Cudd; as well as four great-grandchildren: Jaycelyn Reine, Avery Felter, and London and Zoe Reine. She was a member of Cedarcrest Baptist Church.
