She was 92, born Aug. 31, 1919, and a native and resident of Baton Rouge. She is survived by her son, Tullis McKnight Jr.; grandsons, Barrett McKnight, Paul Dixon, Neil Dixon and Glen Dixon; granddaughters, Amy Dixon and Paula Dixon; great-grandson, Thomas McKnight; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tulles McKnight Sr.; a daughter, Sandra McKnight; second husband, Nicholas Spring; her parents, George W. and Ruby Hoyt; and siblings, Boyd Hoyt, G.W. Hoyt, Veda Rome, Katharine Chaves and Rita Mae Gillespie. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 29, at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 10 a.m. until memorial service at noon. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Earl Rome, Bill Rome, Robbie Rome, Louis McKnight, Pat Goblin and Henry Hebert.
