Francisco Javier Ramirez Lugo, a native of Queretaro, Mexico, and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on August 12, 2021 at the age of 59. Javier was a hard worker, working in the Baton Rouge area as a painter. He came from Mexico to the United States as a teenager, building his life here in the states, working in the restaurant industry and then starting his own painting company. He loved watching soccer games and spending time with his son Ricardo and grandson Adrian. He was a very funny, popular man who was loved by family and many friends in many places. He was known to take care of stray cats who would continually come back for the food that he put out. He is survived by his children, Karla Ramirez, Damian Ramirez, and Ricardo Ramirez; mother, Librada Ramirez; four brothers; and grandchildren, Adrian, Liliana, and Arianna; and former wife, Blanca Valencia; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Evaristo Ramirez; son, Luis Ramirez; and siblings, Lazaro Ramirez and Felipa Ramirez Lugo. A visitation will be on Tuesday, August 17 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 10:00 a.m. until a funeral service at 12:00.
