Frank William Peabody, Jr., resident of Denham Springs, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the age of 84. He was a Master Mason at East Gate Lodge # 452 for over 40 years, member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity, active member of The Acadia Shriners since July 3, 1986 (30years), and member of the Lions Club. He is also a veteran of the United States Air Force. Frank also owned and operated the first screen printing shop in Baton Rouge, in 1967, The Silk Screen Shop. Frank was an avid photographer, was naturally talented when it came to inventing things, and enjoyed watching the koi fish in his pond. He also had a dear friend and loved his dog, Bailey. A devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, Frank is survived by his wife of 57 years, Frances Mason Peabody; sons, Kirby Peabody and fiancé Susie Duplantis and Rich Peabody and wife, Shannon; daughters, Beth Meyer and husband Lynn and Laura Bayhi and husband Bubba; grandchildren, Hayden Peabody, Marcus O' Connor, Kacy Williams and husband, Brandon, Mason Peabody, Meagan Bayhi, Ryan O'Connor, Kristy Peabody, Taylor Peabody, and Makenzie Bayhi; great grandchildren, Aubree Williams and Blaine O'Connor; sister, Margaret Patteson; and brother, Charles Peabody and wife, Pat Peabody. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank William Peabody, Sr. and Lillian Richards. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 5pm- 8pm with the Mason service beginning at 7pm.Visitation will resume on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 10am until funeral service at 12pm. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
