

"Freddie passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at his home in Prairieville, LA. He was 77, a native of Baton Rouge. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and managed construction projects throughout the country. Freddie coached youth football and baseball in Central, and was president of the Central Wildcat Backers Club. He enjoyed fishing with his wife, grilling with family and friends, listening to country music and loved his family poodles. Freddie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Francis "Tudy" McNabb; two sons, Freddie "Trey" McNabb III and Frank McNabb; a granddaughter, Ashley McNabb; two sisters, Diane Bratcher and Betty Burns; a brother, George McNabb. Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Louise McNabb, sister, Barbara Dawson. Freddie was a magnificent story teller, loving provider, compassionate friend to all he encountered. He was a devoted husband who lived to please the love of his life, his wife Tudy. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government, Saturday, January 20, 2018, 10:00 a.m. until religious services at 12 noon conducted by Rev. Brady Whitton. Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the McClendon Family Cemetery in Gillsburg, MS.
