
Gail Norine Thompson Mosely, a native of Kansas City, Missouri and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA for over 30 years, died on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at the age of 61 at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was an LPN who cared for patients at the Earl K. Long Medical Center for 24 years until its closing in 2013, then continued her work at the OLOL Surgical Center on Perkins Road. Gail was a generous hearted woman who shared her enormous capacity for love with family, friends, patients, and lost and hopeless animals. She was a devoted daughter, beloved sister, caring mother, loyal friend, and compassionate nurse. She will be greatly missed by everyone she touched. Along with her passion for those in the animal kingdom, she was a big fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and LSU football. She is survived by her son Christopher Matthew Mosley, her sister Joyce Thompson Jenne, her niece Tara Beth Jenne, and nephew William "Hank" Jenne. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Wayne Mosley and her parents Dorothy and Claude Thompson. A memorial reception will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at the home of her sister, 18175 Owen Road, Prairieville, LA.
