A special thanks to Cardinal Hospice with a special thank you to Brenda Williams whose devoted tender and loving care put a smile on his face and a light in his eyes. Thanks to all the staff at Amber Terrace (nurses, aids, dining room attendants, activity director, Med Pass and many more) for the compassion and love you showed him. We can't say enough about all of you, the countless visits and checking on him. He is smiling down on all of you and saying, "I finally made it home." He enjoyed all the hugs and kisses from all of you and we will never forget each and every one of you. We will continue to visit the residents who we have enjoyed talking and visiting with as you have become our extended family. The life given to us is short but the memory of a well spent life is eternal. We recognize our own morality and are reminded that in the time we have on this earth what matters is not wealth, status, power or fame but rather how well we have loved.
