Glenda A. Kroll

Glenda Faye Allen Kroll, born June 15, 1945, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of April 1, 2016 with family at her side after a brief battle with cancer. She was a native of Aberdeen, Mississippi and a longtime resident of Greenwell Springs. A graduate of Baptist Nursing School in Memphis, Tennessee, her nursing career spanned over four decades. She is survived by her husband of 35 years James Morgan Kroll, son Jason Paul Kroll, daughter-in-law Daina Bennett Kroll, the loves of her life grandchildren Jet Michael Kroll, Della Marie Kroll, and Serianna Faye Kroll, a sister and brother-in-law Patsy and Eugene Wright, sister-in-law Martha Allen, sister-in-law Claudia Allen, and brother-in-law Al Woodhouse, brother-in-law Gordner Kroll and his wife Susan, sister-in-law Robin Laurent and her husband Myron, and sister-in-law Reba Broussard and her husband Brady. Preceded in death by her parents Rufus and Frances Allen, sister Peggy Woodhouse, brother Jack Randle Allen, and brother Johnny Ray Allen. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Monday, April 4, 2016, from 4 PM until 8 PM. A special thanks to the staff on the 7th floor of Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, staff of Carpenter House, and Dr. Susan Richarme for their care in her final days.
