A retired teacher's aide with 32 years at the Louisiana State Department of Education and a resident of Pride, she went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, March 28, 2018. She was 77 years of age, and a native of Independence, Louisiana. She is survived by her two sons, Karl Wayne Wilson Jr. and wife Theresa, Keith Michael Wilson and Faye Young; and her daughter-in-law Heidi Wilson. She was the loving "Maw Maw" of her four grandchildren, Kelli, Kaci, Taylor, and Tyler Wilson. She is also survived by her two sisters, Audrey Rhodus and Iris Pendergraft; her two brothers, Sonny Hendon and Morris Hendon; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years Karl Wilson Sr.; her parents, Percy and Lurleen Hendon; her two sisters Vivian Dunnington and Dorothy Bankston; and her niece Kelley Rhodus. Visitation will be held at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church, Monday, April 2, 2018, from 10 am to 2 pm with services to follow. Burial in church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Taylor Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Troy Wilson, Keith Bankston, Brent Dunnington, and Bendel Dunnington. She was a member of Greenwell Springs Baptist Church and Lake St. John Baptist Church.
