Helen Garrett Bailey

Helen G. Bailey a loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at the age of 83. Everyone who knew her, knew her as a woman of great faith. She served her church as an active member of Magnolia United Methodist Church for 52 years. She was a native of El Dorado, Arkansas and a resident of Greenwell Springs. She is survived by her loving husband Burl L. Bailey, two daughters and sons-in-law; Debbie and R. E. Thompson of Greenwell Springs and Jeanie and James White of Gulfport, MS., daughter-in-law; Edna Babin Bailey of Zachary, LA., one brother and sister-in-law; Albert and Myrt Garrett of Baton Rouge, grandchildren; Jason and Lauren Thompson, Bryan and Vicki Thompson, Randy Bailey, Jr. and two great-grandchildren; Kieth Blanda and Isabella Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents; Burl and Clara Currie Garrett, a son Randy Bailey, Sr., one sister; Mildred Lewis and one brother; James P. Baker. Visitation will be Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Magnolia United Methodist Church 16024 Greenwell Springs Rd. beginning at 1:00pm with services at 2:00pm. Interment will be Monday, April 29, 2013 in Biloxi National Cemetery at 12:30pm. Pallbearers will be; James White, R. E. Thompson, Jason Thompson, Bryan Thompson, Randy Bailey,Jr., Jimmy Lewis, Albert Garrett and Kieth Blanda.
